The CIMAT CMT-48 VSR is state-of-the-art equipment designed to perform the most accurate turbine repair operations possible, which is extremely accurate, efficient and easy to use. These machines consist of two sets of accessories to balance the turbine cores of not only cars but also trucks. CIMAT has developed an energy-saving adapter system consisting of a plate and a bushing for its VSR equipment line. The plate attaches the core bearing housing to the machine and the bushing drives the turbine wheel with compressed air.

Adapter system:

Different turbochargers mean different dimensions - bearing housings and rotors can be of different sizes. This means that if you use a single-cell adapter, you will have to buy new adapters for almost every CHRA. The CIMAT two-element adapter can be used in pairs, so it can come in a variety of configurations. Different configurations mean fewer adapters. Fewer adapters mean less overhead.

With this adapter system developed by CIMAT, 10 plates and 10 special bushings are equivalent to 100 traditional adapter configurations that you would have to buy if you used a machine from another manufacturer. In addition, each plate and each bushing is universal and fits up to a dozen bearing housings and rotors - meaning fewer adapters will work with more assemblies. This innovative solution saves your company time and money.
