Warranty and Return Policy
Warranty Terms
UAB "Baltic Diagnostic Service" provides a 24-month warranty for all products sold unless otherwise specified by EU legislation Exceptions apply to products with batteries or accumulators which may have a 6-month warranty period
Warranty Service Procedure
Warranty repairs are performed free of charge at the UAB "Baltic Diagnostic Service" service center located in Kaunas The customer is responsible for transporting goods to the service center
Warranty claims will be considered only if a purchase document (VAT invoice or receipt) and a completed service request form submitted through our website are provided
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty will not apply in the following cases
- The product was used improperly or not according to the manufacturer's instructions
- The product was modified or repaired at an unauthorized service center
- The product was mechanically damaged after purchase e g dropped or damaged during transportation
- Defects were caused by natural disasters unsuitable environmental conditions e g excessive humidity dust or improper power sources
- The product was stored or used in unsuitable conditions e g high temperature or humidity
- A purchase document is not provided or is falsified
- If the product was purchased in a defective condition
- Defective Products
Specific Battery and Accumulator Warranty Conditions
The warranty for batteries and accumulators is void if they were improperly used mechanically damaged or charged maintained using unsuitable equipment
If the product is defective the consumer has the right under Article 6 364 1 of the Civil Code to request
- Repair or replacement of the product unless this is impossible or would incur disproportionate costs for the seller
- The seller has the right to refuse repair or replacement if
- The product's value without defects is considered
- The defect's significance is assessed
- Other claims would not cause inconvenience to the consumer
The consumer may request a proportional price reduction or terminate the purchase agreement if
- The seller fails to repair or replace the product
- The defect persists despite repairs
- The defect is significant
- The seller indicates or it is clear that repairs or replacement will not occur within a reasonable timeframe or will cause significant inconvenience to the consumer
- The consumer cannot terminate the agreement if the defect is minor The seller bears the burden of proof to show the defect is minor
Product Returns
Returns of Products Purchased in a Physical Store
Electronics purchased in a physical store may only be returned with the seller's consent According to Retail Trade Rules 17 14 electrical machines and devices codes 8501–8548 in the Combined Nomenclature are non returnable
Withdrawal from Distance Contracts
Under Article 6 228 10 of the Civil Code consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance or off premises contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a reason To do so the consumer must submit a properly completed withdrawal form or a clear statement of withdrawal Products must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notification submission Consumers must prove they adhered to withdrawal conditions
Condition of Products at Return
According to Article 6 362 of the Civil Code returned products must be unused undamaged retain their consumer properties and maintain their commercial appearance Consumers must also provide evidence that the product was purchased from us
Return Procedure
The customer is responsible for transportation costs associated with returns
Products must be returned in original packaging with all accessories and intact packaging to the address specified on our website or in the return confirmation
Refunds will be issued no later than 14 days after receiving and inspecting the products
If the returned products are damaged or their value has decreased due to improper use or packaging damage UAB "Baltic Diagnostic Service" reserves the right to refuse a full refund or reduce the refund amount accordingly
Post Warranty Repairs
After the warranty period UAB "Baltic Diagnostic Service" offers post warranty repairs The repair cost will be determined individually based on an agreement between the customer and service staff
