The Autel IA800 is an intelligent positioning system, making this stand an innovative technology because it speeds up all previously mechanical processes. The fastest and most accurate positioning of the calibration frame without mechanical measurement. Autel ADAS Optical Positioning System features six high-definition cameras that provide 3-dimensional adjustment for more accurate centering and vehicle distance finding. This new ADAS positioning system optically measures the clamps on two wheels, significantly reducing setup time and increasing accuracy.

Wheel chocks with camera sights attach to the rear wheels, and the stationary target component is located on the front or side of the car, depending on the make, model and year of the car. The Autel MaxiSYS tablet is attached to the frame and is programmatically connected to the cameras.
The system recognizes positioning targets and calculates the current angle, distance and frame deviation position to the vehicle. The technician simply follows the on-screen instructions to orient the frame or adjust its angle until the existing values match the required values. When the required position values are reached, a green checkmark appears next to each parameter. That's it, the vehicle is ready for calibration. So comparing this system to mechanical methods such as measuring tapes, you would save up to 40 minutes on average.
