Waste liquid collection equipment

As recently as 20 years ago, only one other Lithuanian resident had heard about waste and liquid sorting, but as the level of education grew, citizens understood the importance of sorting, which determined the development of the waste recycling industry. We can all remember when in childhood we saw a man in a close environment change the lubricants for his car. Usually, the car was lifted onto the jack, the crankcase bolt was unscrewed, and the driver waited for the grease to run out after removing the unnecessary container. Question only one, where did the used lubricants go? They could be seen almost everywhere in the wilderness, in the grasslands, in all places where there was a possibility to absorb ointments. There have also been cases where lubricants have been dumped in general household waste containers. Probably those individuals never thought about the enormous damage to nature.

Nowadays, the largest amount of lubricants is replaced by car services, but during the inspection of specialists, improperly utilized lubricants are still found, they are burned and poured into unauthorized places.

Specialists state that every year a Lithuanian resident can add up to 10 liters of ointment free of charge. You can add unnecessary contaminants to each large waste site in the municipality, it is important that the container is airtight and does not exceed 10 liters capacity. According to statistical data, various oil wastes are added to the Lithuanian market 10 times less than purchased annually. And yet we need to focus on those who work most on changing oils - car repair shops. In order to ensure maximum compliance with the requirements of safe sorting, the project “We sort in Autoservise” has been created - a unique environmental project for vehicle maintenance and repair persons (Autoservises), during which participants are informed about proper use of oils, internal combustion engine fuels, lubricants, air disposal of filters, automotive hydraulic (oil) shock absorbers and we create favorable conditions for the addition of this waste.

Also no less important are the means of degreasing, the tanks, which help not only to work ergonomically for the employees, but also do not pose a danger of leaking into the service premises and endangering the employees. Darius Jokubauskas, a specialist in professional service equipment, recommends taking into account several cornerstones that will help you choose the most suitable oil extraction tank.

First of all, estimate how many cars you will be servicing per day and how much oil you will need to collect, this will help you especially as you will not have to empty the oil collection tank too often, you will do this at the end of the work. Mobility when the tank is full so that you don't have to move, choose the mobile oil collection tanks, which are located on four wheels, two of which are fixed for stability. Choose a funnel with a filter to ensure that the used oil is free of debris. Well, there are two ways to remove oil from the collection tank, one mechanical, the oil is pumped out manually or by automatically connecting the compressor to the oil collection tank, the oil is blown out of the tank into the tank of your choice. Also, choose devices with manometers and oil level gauges to make it easier to keep track of the liquids in the tank. Another component is the clear tank, for checking how much oil has been spilled to assess how much oil has been in the engine. A transparent inspection chamber makes it possible to check the condition of the oil spilled and the absence of impurities or debris.
