Conventional smoke meters are not always sufficient for checking the emissions of modern Euro 5 and Euro 6 diesel vehicles, because a properly functioning diesel engine with a DPF emits very low levels of particulate matter that are invisible to the naked eye. The TEN AEM Exhaust Gas Analyser is designed to accurately measure the concentration of particulate matter in the exhaust gases and to assess the vehicle's compliance with applicable requirements. The device measures particles at idle speed, making inspection simpler and safer than with the free acceleration method. The heated sampling probe helps prevent condensation and moisture from entering the measuring chamber, while the integrated printer allows the customer to receive a printout of the results immediately if the particle content exceeds the permissible limit.
