VAG Adaptations and Component Protection Package ABRITES

Immobilizer Data-Related Modules:

• Read and update IMMO data (PIN, CS, MAC) to adapt used parts and components.
• Supported modules include:
• Engine Control Unit (ECU): EDC15, EDC16, EDC17, MED17, ME7, MED9.x, Simos PPD, Simos PCR2.1, Magneti Marelli 4HV and 7HV, and others.
• Transmission Control Unit (TCU): S-Tronic (DL501), DSG (DQ200 and DQ250), and CVT.
• Read component protection bits from ZF8HP.
• Immobilizers.
• Electronic Steering Locks (ESL).
• Instrument Clusters (more detailed information available in the ABRITES user manual).

Component Protection:

• Synchronizes modules that don't require IMMO data adaptation but need component protection synchronization (e.g., resolves intermittent radio sound).
• 1st Generation Component Protection: Audi A8 (2003–2010), Audi A6 (2004–2008) – MMI, CD players, ILM, and other modules.
• 2nd Generation Component Protection: Audi A6 / A7 / A8 / Q7 (2004–2010) and Audi A4 / A5 / Q5 (2007–2015) – EZS-Kessy, comfort modules, airbag modules, instrument clusters, and others. Audi A6 / A7 / A8 and VW Touareg (2010–2018) instrument clusters and infotainment systems.

Other Functions:

• Read and update EEPROM data in Micronas MCU documents.
• Read and update confidential information and clear crash data from Siemens and Bosch airbag modules.
• Read component protection bits and PIN from PCR2.1 engine control module ECU on the bench.
• This package includes all functions of the following components: AN043, AN045, AN046, AN047, AN048, AN049, AN052, AN053, AN055, AN056, AN057, and AN058.

Component Protection Package VN017

• Offers broader component support for the VAG car group, especially for Audi and Volkswagen models.

VN017 Allows:

• Reading and updating Lear Gateway component protection bits.
• Replacing all component protection-related modules, provided access to both the vehicle being repaired and a donor vehicle.
• Instrument cluster replacement via OBD connection (no need to dismantle the vehicle or have the original cluster).
• Multimedia module replacement via OBD connection (no need to dismantle the vehicle or have the original module).
• Central Electronics Module (CEM) replacement via OBD connection (no need to dismantle the vehicle or have the original module).
• Temperature control BHTU replacement in Audi A6 / A7 / A8 (4H) (2010–2017).
