ECU PROGRAMMING BASICS TRAINING - Baltic Diag training at KTU Laboratory

Introductory ECU programming training to understand the essence of programming engine control units, the equipment used and the basic principles of operation. The training clearly explains how the ECU structure works, where the most important data is located and what risks are involved when reading or writing.

The training will take place at KTU University, Studentų str. 50, Kaunas, in our Baltic Diag laboratory.
Duration - 4 academic hours
Group - up to 10 participants
Baltic Diag diploma issued

This training is for:

  • for craftsmen who want to start working with ECU programming

  • those who are looking for immediately practical solutions for deep level programming
  • This is the basis for ECU programming. A clear understanding of how things work before the real work begins.

TRAINING CONTENTS

Theoretical part:

  • ECU structure and operating principles
  • Equipment used and its purpose
  • Types of processors and their differences
  • Memory types and structure (EEPROM, Flash, etc.)
  • Principles of reading and writing data
  • Critical data and its importance
  • Potential risks and consequences of errors

Practical part:

  • Demonstration of working with the software
  • Overview of the ECU reading and writing process
  • Connection methods (OBD, Bench, Boot)
  • Principles of using the software
  • Real examples and explanation of processes
  • Professional ECU programming equipment used in the training

HOW THE TRAINING WORKS

  • Up to 10 participants per group
  • Theoretical part with real examples from repair practice
  • Practical demonstration and work with the equipment
  • Question-and-answer session
  • Presentation of the Baltic Diag diploma

The training is carried out on a regular basis, once the group is assembled, and individual or tailor-made training is also possible.
