ADAS SYSTEMS THEORY AND CALIBRATION TRAINING - Baltic Diag training at KTU Laboratory

Automotive ADAS systems theory and calibration training to understand the operation of advanced driver assistance systems, their importance and the correct calibration logic. The training combines theory and practical demonstration to give a clear understanding of the whole calibration process and the most common errors.

The training will take place at KTU University, Studentų str. 50, Kaunas, in our Baltic Diag laboratory.
Duration - 4 academic hours
Group - up to 10 participants

• Garage technicians working on modern cars
• Professionals who want to start working with ADAS systems

• This is the basis for working with ADAS. A clear understanding of how the system works, when calibration is required and how to do it correctly.

CONTENTS OF THE TRAINING

Theoretical part:

• Principles and purpose of ADAS systems
• Types of different systems (camera, radar, lidar, etc.)
• Importance of calibration and when it is necessary
• Static and dynamic calibration
• Requirements for the environment and working conditions
• Common errors and their consequences

Practical part:

• Demonstration of working with ADAS calibration equipment
• Calibration processes in real-life situations
• Use of Autel ADAS stands in practice
• Preparation work before calibration
• Application of diagnostic equipment functions to ADAS systems

HOW THE TRAINING IS DELIVERED

• Up to 10 participants per group
• Theoretical part with real examples from repair practice
• Practical demonstration and work with the equipment
• Question and answer session
• Presentation of the Baltic Diag diploma
• The training is carried out on a regular basis, once the group is assembled, and individual or tailor-made training is also possible.
