Multifunction device for testing EPS (electric power steering) systems. This device simulates the real operation of the system in the car and was designed to diagnose pumps in EPS systems. The MS561 can be used in conjunction with a hydraulic stand to test mechanical pumps or to test electrical components separately from the stand. The controller tests the EPS steering columns and shafts on the vehicle itself (if access to the connections is available) without dismantling the system. This avoids problems with disassembly difficulties, etc. This device also has an OBD II connector for error detection. In addition to diagnostics, this controller also contributes to more efficient system repair.
